I’m doing a series of events to celebrate Chinese New Year and ringing in the Year of the Monkey. First stop will be a concert co-headlining with Only Won in Kent, OH on Fri. Feb 5th followed by a special performance in Cleveland double billed with a screening of my documentary short, Finding Cleveland. I was honored to have won the 2015 Hollywood Music in Media Award for Best Dance Song for “I Feel Alive.” What an amazing night to win at the same ceremony that one of my songwriting heroes, Diane Warren, also won an award for Best Song in a Film. Other music legends presenting included Verdine White of Earth, Wind & Fire and Musical Director, Rickey Minor. Thanks so much to my production team of David Longoria and Robert Eibach for kicking up my song a notch with their touch.
I’m thrilled to be named the winner of Singer Universe’s Best Vocalist of the Month contest for my performance on “I Feel Alive.” Singer Universe’s Dale Kawashima writes: “I Feel Alive” is a propulsive dance/pop song which grabs the listener’s attention and sustains a high energy level. Lam’s powerful, vibrant vocal performance is immediately evident.” You can read the full article here.
I’m hitting the road and spending the bulk of October in NY & Boston. I’m doing several shows plus doing a screenings of my documentary “Finding Cleveland.” It’s going to be an action packed tour. Visit my tour page for updates as new events are being added.

I’m so happy to receive a nomination for “I Feel Alive” for best dance song for this year’s Hollywood Music in Media Awards. It’s such an honor to be recognized. The HMMA not only recognizes indie artists but composers from major films, TV and video games. Last year, Howard Shore (Lord of the Rings, Hobbit) and “Everything is Awesome” from the LEGO movie were big winners. Looking forward to the awards ceremony at the Fonda Theater in Hollywood, CA.
I did two interviews this past week about my song “Wonder Woman.” It’s gaining steam as being a fan fave from the album especially amongst the “geek” crowd
. Check out my thoughts on the song and my favorite superhero on these fun blogs.
To celebrate the end of summer, I’m going to be giving away a free song from my album each day until the end of August. In theory, if you download every day, you’ll have the whole album by the end of the month. (This promotion has ended)
