I’m so happy to receive a nomination for “I Feel Alive” for best dance song for this year’s Hollywood Music in Media Awards. It’s such an honor to be recognized. The HMMA not only recognizes indie artists but composers from major films, TV and video games. Last year, Howard Shore (Lord of the Rings, Hobbit) and “Everything is Awesome” from the LEGO movie were big winners. Looking forward to the awards ceremony at the Fonda Theater in Hollywood, CA.
I did two interviews this past week about my song “Wonder Woman.” It’s gaining steam as being a fan fave from the album especially amongst the “geek” crowd
. Check out my thoughts on the song and my favorite superhero on these fun blogs.

I got in the hotseat with Sidebeat Music for a live chat and talked about everything from bad talent show auditions to my album Love & Discovery to the new documentary I directed, Finding Cleveland. I had great time talking with host, Sonia Harley, a rocking artist herself. It’s always great to meet other artists who are breaking stereotypes. Check out the interview below or on actorse.com
This Friday, July 24th is the release of I Feel Alive Remixes. On it will be seven mixes of my song including a previously leaked version. Producer/DJ Robert Eibach’s club remix is making its way up the Billboard Dance charts and is getting heavy spins in clubs across the country. Other DJs offering remixes include ChrisZ, Mental Blue, DJ Chooda, and Jed Rex. They will be available on iTunes and all digital retailers.
Since Comic Con is this week, I wanted to show you my discovery that everyone wants to be a superhero. Set to my song, Wonder Woman, I found a lot of people dressed as Wonder Woman & Superman. You’ll also see me encounter a minion, villains and host of other characters.
I’m so thankful my new album is finally out! I hope you’ll support this project I’ve spent the past 4 years working on. I’m grateful to my family for hanging in there with me through the ups and downs. David Longoria & Robert Eibach helped me produce what I believe is my best work yet. I hope the songs I’ve written will truly take you on a journey of “Love & Discovery.” You can support my music by purchasing it on iTunes, Amazon or if you want an autographed copy, you can buy off of my BandCamp store.
I’ll be hitting the stage on June 21st, Father’s Day
performing at a very special concert at Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles. In light of recent racial conflicts and tension across the country, Unify LA is being organized to promote peace and bring together diverse cultural communities. The concert will follow the LA Sparks Game and feature internationally renown speaker, Nick Vujicic, who was born without legs and arms. I’ll be joining other artists like rapper Lazarus and musician Joel Gaines for what will be a powerful afternoon of music. Tickets on sale now at unifyla.com Group discounts available.
