Special Grammy Museum Performance 10/1-UPDATED

UPDATED: What an amazing night it was! A lot of variety starting with Wouter Kellerman’s band. He is so creative with his flute playing. I played the flute in my Jr. High band and I can’t even figure out how to play half the stuff he did. One of his musicians even played water as a percussion instrument. Not a typo. Water. For real. Then David Longoria blew the roof off with his energetic set. I was glad I could be a special guest and the kids of RockNAcappella did a great job singing with me.  So much musical talent in one room and just outside in the museum was display after display of all the music legends from The Beatles to Michael Jackson to Beyonce.

I’m so honored to be asked to perform with other amazing artists at the Grammy Museum’s Clive Davis Theater in downtown Los Angeles at LA Live. The headliners are South African flautist, Wouter Kellerman and my good friend, David Longoria. David will be featured on trumpet on my song, “Swaying,” which will be on my new album, Love & Discovery. Even cooler is that we have a young a capella group, RockNAcapella, joining me onstage to provide background vocals on the song. You might also see an appearance by Only Won providing some sound effects.
