It’s been an interesting time to be Chinese-American in light of fears around Covid-19. Sadly, there’s been a rise in hostility towards Asian Americans during this time when people are falsely assigning blame to people they think are from “China.” We made this video covering Gloria Gaynor’s classic song “I Will Survive” in hopes of educating people about the long lineage many Chinese have in this country and to encourage people to “be nice” to each other regardless of race during this crisis.
