Larissa will be speaking on “Asian American Public History and the U.S. South” at the 2024 OAH (Organization of American Historians) Annual Meeting in New Orleans. This roundtable discussion will include Sam Vong (Smithsonian Institution), Joseph Orser (University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire) and Gilroy Chow (MS Delta Chinese Heritage Museum), who appears in Larissa’s documentary Far East Deep South.
